Chuck brings over 25 years experience as a business manager with both line and staff responsibility in Human Resources, Logistics, Customer Service and Operations. He is an energetic problem solver experienced in start-ups as well as re-engineering and is a recognized team leader with proven negotiating skills lending to consensus building in an organization. Prior to joining BeamPines, Chuck held a most unique position as Vice-President Logistical Operations and Human Resources for KRUPS North America Inc., a small electrics appliance company well known for its high quality, high-end coffee/espresso/cappuccino machines. In this position, he was responsible for folding a family-owned business into a large international company that purchased it in 1991. Chuck spent 16 years with Standard Brands/Nabisco Brands/RJR Nabisco where he was also involved in diverse business-oriented disciplines having spent 8 years in Human Resources Labor Relations as Chief spokesperson for the Wine & Spirits Division and then the Foods Division. The next eight years were spent in a major line responsibility position in the Distribution Division as Regional Manager Distribution/Customer Service, Eastern Region culminating in the position of Director of Logistics. He was responsible for the administration, forecasting and movement of $100 million of food group products. During the eight years, he was also instrumental in assisting with the Standard Brands/Nabisco consolidation specifically in the relocation of various functions. Prior to his Nabisco experience, he was employed by Johnson & Johnson for seven years where his initial assignment as a first line supervisor in its management development program led to roles in manufacturing, customer service and Human Resources. Chuck graduated from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, attended the MBA program at Seton Hall University, the Logistics Executive Program at Michigan State as well as various training and development courses. He also is a member of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association as a certified High School Soccer referee.
