Ms. Kaufman has served as Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs since December 2004. She has served as Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer since October 1995 and was elected Vice President of Legal Affairs and Secretary in March 1996. From January 1989 through September 1995, she served as Vice President, Secretary and Chief Administrative Officer of Cooper Development Company, a healthcare and consumer products company. She previously held a variety of financial positions with Cooper Laboratories, Inc. (our former parent) since joining that company in 1971. Ms. Kaufman currently serves as a director and member of the audit and compensation committees of the board of directors for Chindex, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHDX), a publicly traded distributor of medical equipment and services in China.
