Bryan Darr founded American Roamer in 1988 and has served as the company's President since its inception. Darr has managed the company's growth as the market leader in providing telecommunications business intelligence information, in-depth coverage patterns and interactive mapping solutions to companies worldwide. Darr has spent most of his professional life in the wireless industry, beginning his career in the cellular industry as a sales representative for Cellular One of Memphis in 1985. After discovering his customers were having difficulty traveling with their phones, he founded American Roamer and began developing consumer roaming guides. These products soon proved invaluable for carriers and wireless consumers throughout North America. He has since transformed American Roamer from its roots as a printing company to its leadership role today in telecommunications business intelligence and coverage information. Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Darr is a member of the class of 1984 at Rhodes College and majored in International Studies. Under his leadership, American Roamer has been a long-standing member of the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association and Rural Cellular Association. He has served on the RCA Membership Development/Public Relations Board and was formerly Vice President of Management Development for the Memphis Jaycees. He lives in Germantown, TN with his wife and two sons.
