As a cofounder of Venture, Brian plays a critical role in the evolution of the company. His more than 17 years of business and systems experience in designing, developing, and implementing large, complex, mission-critical systems for the financial services industry, has provided a framework to how we approach projects at Venture today. Brian is focused on initiating strategic projects with Venture Clients while providing them with proven project processes for building and integrating medium to large-scale systems. Venture's strong track record for delivering projects on-time and within budget is directly attributed to our organizational model founded and developed in 1992- hire only seasoned investment professionals with systems project experience and apply those highly skilled resources to achieve the highest quality work. Projects in which Brian has played a major role include: evaluation and integration of small to large software applications, extensive interface design and fixed income processing enhancements, operational assessment of 529 products, security reference enhancements, evaluation of market data, development of SEC yield and automated price control subsystems, conversions, and managing network strategy and implementation projects. Prior to establishing Venture FSG, Brian managed a system development team at Fidelity Investments where he was responsible for a multi-million dollar investment accounting system project. This project required management and coordination of hundreds of subprojects cross company and external to Fidelity including portfolio management, trading, security reference, pricing, accounting and regulatory reporting.
