Bob joined SynchroNet Marine in 2000 as Vice President (VP), Sales, where he was charged with overseeing global sales and client services, and setting the direction and office expansion in the European, Latin American and Asian marketplaces. During his first year as VP of Sales, Bob helped lead the acquisition of London-based Greybox Logistics Services, Inc. and undertook the challenge of integrating Greybox and SynchroNet Marine into a single global enterprise. The Company currently has offices and staff located in Pleasanton, Chicago, Virginia Beach, Toronto, Rotterdam, Singapore, Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro, Seoul, Hong Kong and Mumbai. In 2002, as Executive VP of Sales and Client Services, Bob led an aggressive business development plan that successfully quadrupled revenues, and was instrumental in the Company's re-branding effort launched in 2006. It was Bob's vision to create distinct product offerings and focused, expert leadership teams for the Company's container interchange services, software development, specialty projects and container trading services. During the summer of 2008, after Bob became President and CEO of SynchroNet Marine, Inc., he sold the company's container trading unit. The sale was completed just ahead of the global economic crisis, which helped boost the Company's cash position to weather the downturn. Prior to joining SynchroNet, Bob served eleven years with Sea-Land Services where he held key sales management positions throughout the Eastern, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwestern US regions. At Sea-Land, Bob launched innovative service packages and grew revenues significantly in global emerging market regions for the company, particularly with the Commonwealth Independent States, formerly of the Soviet Union. Additionally, Bob held various industry positions at Crowley Maritime Corporation and started his distinguished career in the transportation shipping industry at United States (US) Lines. Bob graduated from Hofstra University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in business management. Bob also studied Mechanical Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology for two years prior to transferring to Hofstra University.
