Bill Borkovitz is a Principal with Kaplan & Associates, Inc., the premier retained executive search firm in the mid-Atlantic region. Bill brings almost twenty-five years of senior executive operating experience to the firm, primarily in the financial services and healthcare sectors. Prior to joining Kaplan & Associates, Inc., Bill was Chief Operating Officer of Financial Asset Management Systems, Inc. (FAMS), a leading receivable management company, located in Atlanta. Bill also served as a member of the Board of Directors of FAMS, which was a private firm primarily controlled by private equity firm American Capital. Previously, from 2002-2006, Bill served as Executive Vice President, Risk Operations, for Radian Guaranty. From 1998-2002, Bill was a Vice President of Fidelity Investments, where he held a series 7 license and was responsible for nationwide tactical operations and strategic measures. Earlier in his career, Bill held leadership roles in several leading companies including Caremark, Citibank, and Dun & Bradstreet. Bill is also co-founder and Partner of Banyan Financial Partners, LLC, an alternative investment company. In addition, Bill serves as an expert consultant for Gerson-Lehrman. Bill holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Delaware. He is also an active member of the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group.
