Beth Walsh utilizes more than 25 years of experience in public relations and marketing to direct her clients? marketing strategy, events and corporate communications efforts. Prior to founding Clearpoint Agency with Bonnie Shaw, she was senior vice president of public relations at McQuerterGroup where she managed the client services and public relations operations of the integrated high tech-focused agency. Previously, Beth spent six years as director of marketing and corporate communications for The National Dispatch Center, Inc., a wireless communications gateway and operator call center based in San Diego, where she was instrumental in increasing the subscriber base more than tenfold. She directed all advertising, public relations, promotional and tradeshow activities for the company. Clearpoint Agency is Beth's second venture in business ownership, having spent six years at the helm of her own successful marketing and communications consulting business in New York and San Diego handling consumer and business-to-business accounts. While in New York, Beth also worked with numerous nationally acclaimed speakers, and held management and staff roles in marketing and promotions in the health and fitness, hospitality, and entertainment industries where she honed her skills in program development, event management, sales and negotiation. Beth is an honors graduate of Marquette University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology. She is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners and co-chair of its PR committee. Beth has won five Bernays Awards for excellence in public relations. In addition, Beth has twice been named a finalist in the individual service category of the UCSD Athena Pinnacle Awards, twice a finalist in the "Women Who Mean Business Awards," sponsored by the San Diego Business Journal, and in 2001 was named to Wireless Week's Top 25 listing of "Influential Women in Wireless."
