With over 15 years of energy efficiency experience, Ash is responsible for evolving McKinstry's energy efficiency, renewable energy, and facility services business lines while providing the vision and leadership for a variety of related strategic initiatives. His extensive knowledge in the energy industry includes systems engineering, evaluation of sustainable ideas, development of alternative-financing solutions, and optimizing and securing utility incentives and grants. As Vice President, he is responsible for a staff of over 450 of the finest energy and facility services professionals in the industry. He and his team support cities, counties, school districts, universities, medical centers, commercial, and federal clients with a variety of energy and facility related services. FULL BIOGRAPHY Ash is actively involved in many industry organizations. He is the current President of the Board of the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council, which promotes energy efficiency policies, programs, and technologies that create jobs and foster economic growth in the Northwest. In 2007, Ash served on a technical working group of Governor Gregoire's Climate Advisory Team and in 2008 served on Governor Gregoire's Climate Action Team. Currently, he serves on the State of Washington Clean Energy Leadership Council. Ash has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and a Masters Degree from the University of Washington. Ash is a registered professional engineer.
