Anthony has been representing insurers and reinsurers in the area of lawyers professional liability for more than 25 years. He regularly serves as coverage counsel and monitoring counsel for insurers of many of the largest and most high profile lawyers professional liability programs in the United States. He serves as a co-chair of the firm's Professional Liability practice group and is a frequent speaker on lawyers professional liability issues and emerging trends. He specializes in the management of major litigation matters where lawyers are defendants and regularly represents insurers in direct settlement negotiations with claimants. This includes frequent participation in mediations and settlement conferences on behalf of those insurers. Anthony has been a speaker at American Bar Association Standing Committee on Lawyers Professional Liability conferences. Moreover, he has spoken at other forums and symposiums on issues impacting large law firm professional liability. In addition to his work for insurers and large law firms, Anthony also dedicates a significant part of his practice to representing reinsurers. Specifically, he represents reinsurers of lawyers professional liability programs throughout the United States including reinsurers of various NABRICO programs as well as other large lawyers professional liability programs. This work includes audits of those professional liability programs.
