Allison Ames heads Beanstalk's Brand Management and Business Development and Marketing teams. In her Brand Management role, Allison oversees all aspects of client service and is responsible for managing relationships with clients, retailers and licensees, as well as the strategic development, implementation and management of Beanstalk's clients? licensing programs. With respect to New Business and Marketing, Allison is responsible for growing Beanstalk's world-class client roster, and oversees the company's corporate communications. Since joining Beanstalk in 1997, Allison has led both general licensing initiatives as well as retail exclusive programs for the company's clients. She is experienced in partnering with diverse types of clients and has worked with corporate brands, entertainment and media companies, and celebrities to build some of the world's most recognized licensing programs. Allison currently oversees the licensing programs for clients HGTV, Stanley Black & Decker, Purina, the U.S. Army, Airheads, and Salma Hayek, among others. Allison was an integral part of the strategic development and management of Beanstalk's retail exclusive programs for clients, mary-kateandashley and Danskin Now. In addition, Allison was instrumental in the re-launch of Beanstalk's Brand Acquisitions department, which works with manufacturers to strategically identify and license compelling brands for competitive differentiation in the marketplace. Prior to joining Beanstalk, Allison was Vice President of Marketing at Sonneman Design Group, a product design and marketing consulting firm that specialized in the home furnishings industry. Before that, she held a variety of marketing positions at Bairnco Corporation, a Fortune 500 company. Allison earned a bachelor of arts in international business and marketing from George Washington University and an M.B.A. in international business from Hofstra University.
