As Senior Vice President, I have responsibility for the Safety, Equipment Resource, and Training departments. These three areas are critical to supporting the accomplishments of the Operations Divisions at Hunter Contracting Co. At Hunter, the safety and well being of our employees come first. This philosophy is built on a foundation of educating and training all our employees. It is through this approach that we have been successful in creating the culture that "safety is everyone's responsibility." Also key to creating our competitive advantage, is increasing the knowledge and skill level of our employees. To this end, Hunter Contracting Co. has implemented various training initiatives and continues to expand our training department, producing opportunities for advancement, and job security that benefits our employees and there families. We believe training and continuous improvement is a win-win for Hunter Contracting Co. as well as the construction industry. In order to keep pace with the demands of the projects we build, we must continually evaluate, maintain, and add to our available equipment resources. Maintaining a high level of equipment productivity and keeping up-to-date with the latest technology is a continuous process of strategic analysis.
