Alan K. Kukoski is vice president of Hitachi Power Systems America, Inc., a position to which he was appointed in 2005. Before joining Hitachi, Mr. Kukoski previously served with the Foster Wheeler Power Group from 1978 to 2004, most recently as director of engineering and technology where he was responsible for all process engineering work including AQCS performance; engineering department budget and liquidations; review and approval of technical risk assessments for major PC and CFB projects, $5MM and above; support proposal and sales efforts for perspective projects; corporate patent review and approval; and technical support for corporate research and development programs. He joined Foster Wheeler and a field service engineer. Mr. Kukoski holds a Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He also was enrolled in post graduate studies in the Mechanical Engineering PhD program at New Jersey Institute of Technology, Finance for Technical Executives at the Massachussetts Institute of Technology, and the Management Program Sloan School of Management, Pennsylvania State University, January 2002.
