Alan Kaufman's Email & Phone

Alan S. Kaufman was for many years the Assistant Attorney General in Charge of the Litigation Bureau of the New York State Department of Law, at the Capitol in Albany, New York. In this capacity he supervised civil litigation brought against the State of New York, and personally handled a substantial case load of the more complex and significant suits. Mr. Kaufman also spent several years as a litigation attorney at Kelley, Drye & Warren, a large New York City law firm. Mr. Kaufman is a Columbia Law School graduate, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and Editor in Chief of the Columbia Journal of Environmental Law. He is also a magna cum laude graduate of Yeshiva University, in New York City.
