Youthlinc

Youthlinc is a 501(c) nonprofit organization based in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a charitable organization, Youthlinc employs 18 people and generates $2.5 million in annual revenue. Youthlinc focuses on creating lifetime humanitarians through local and international service. Their core programs include Service Year, a structured school year-long curriculum with up to 80 hours of local service and international site leadership opportunities; the Utah Local Service Directory, an online resource connecting students with service agencies; the Young Humanitarian Award, a scholarship program recognizing outstanding youth service; and Real Life SLC, a teen-to-teen mentoring program for refugee teens. The organization emphasizes educational and service learning principles in its programs, focusing on student leadership, hands-on service, effective mentoring, and project-based learning. Each year, over 180 Utah students participate in the Service Year, providing more than 15,000 hours of local service with the support of 50-60 adult mentors.
