Youth Rising

Youth Rising is a youth-led agency based in Southern Oregon dedicated to supporting transitional-age youth (ages 12-24). Founded in 2011 by Tasha Locks and a group of young people, the organization has grown to operate nationally, providing a wide range of services to young individuals facing challenges in accessing positive social connections, employment opportunities, safe housing, and quality mental health and substance abuse treatment. The agency recognizes the importance of amplifying youth voices and empowering them to advocate for positive change within the systems that serve them.
