Yamal LNG

Yamal LNG is a joint-venture company based in Russia. The company employs 659 people and reported $16.4 million in revenue. Yamal LNG is operated by JSC Yamal LNG, a partnership between NOVATEK (50.1%), TOTAL (20%), CNPC (20%), and Silk Road Fund (9.9%). Yamal LNG focuses on Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) production and sales. The company utilizes the resources of the South Tambey Field on the Yamal Peninsula, a location above the Arctic Circle. The LNG Plant will be built in three phases, starting up in 2017, 2018, and 2019, respectively. With proven and probable PRMS natural gas reserves estimated at 926 BCM, the project is designed to produce 16.5 million metric tons per annum (MTPA) of LNG and up to 1.2 MTPA of gas condensate.
