Yale Helix Group is a startup incubator based in New Haven, Connecticut, dedicated to supporting the healthtech ventures of Yale University undergraduates. As a small organization with five employees, Yale Helix Group provides a unique platform for students to develop their entrepreneurial skills and bring innovative healthcare solutions to life. The Yale Helix Group focuses on fostering the growth of healthtech startups by offering mentorship, guidance, and access to resources. The organization recognizes the challenges faced by students launching healthcare-focused ventures, particularly in navigating the complex regulatory environment and securing patient feedback. Funded and supported by the Yale Tsai CITY initiative and the Center for Biomedical Innovation and Technology (CBIT), the Yale Helix Group offers a comprehensive support system for its members. In addition to mentorship and resources, Yale Helix Group also provides compensation to its members, who are designated as Yale Helix Innovation Fellows, ensuring that financial accessibility is not a barrier to participation.
