Xoft develops and manufactures the Xoft® Electronic Brachytherapy System®, a radiation therapy system cleared by the FDA for various cancer treatments. This isotope-free system utilizes miniaturized x-rays to deliver precise radiation to cancerous areas, minimizing damage to healthy tissue. The system can be used for intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT) during surgery or as partial breast irradiation (APBI). The Xoft System offers several advantages over traditional radiation therapy methods. It does not require a shielded environment and its compact size and portability allow for use in a variety of clinical settings.
