World Faiths Development Dialogue

World Faiths Development Dialogue is a non-profit organization based in Washington, District of Columbia. Employing 11 people, the organization has generated $2.5 million in revenue. The World Faiths Development Dialogue bridges the gap between religious and secular development institutions. The organization supports dialogues and conferences, fosters communities of practice, compiles case studies of faith-based organizations, and promotes understanding between religion and development. WFDD works with formal relationships to both the World Bank and Georgetown University’s Berkley Center for Peace, Religion, and World Affairs. WFDD aims to highlight the shared goals of religious and development institutions in addressing poverty. The organization also seeks to facilitate thoughtful discussions on complex issues where consensus is unclear, encompassing various faith traditions and perspectives within faiths and between faiths and development institutions.
