WKU Imagewest

WKU Imagewest is a student-run advertising and public relations agency based in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The agency employs 19 people and operates year-round from the Mass Media and Technology Hall room 331 on Western Kentucky University's campus. WKU Imagewest was founded in January 2004 and is a part of WKU’s School of Journalism and Broadcasting’s Center for 21st Century Media Program of Distinction. The agency provides a wide range of services to clients, including graphic and web design, media relations and publicity, event planning, large scale printing, consulting, strategic planning, and research. Imagewest also operates an in-house focus group facility. The agency serves clients locally, nationally, and internationally, and during the summer, travels abroad to work with clients. WKU Imagewest offers students real-world agency experience, allowing them to develop their skills and build their portfolios. All revenues generated by the agency are reinvested back into Imagewest to cover expenses such as equipment, scholarships, and educational travel.
