WILDLIFE IN NEED CENTER LTD

The Wildlife in Need Center (WINC) is a non-profit organization based in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. As a 501(c)3 entity, WINC is dedicated to the rehabilitation of sick and injured Wisconsin wildlife. The organization employs a small team of 7.5 full-time equivalent staff members, supported by a dedicated network of 50 to 80 volunteers who contribute over 10,000 hours annually. WINC provides comprehensive medical care, veterinary services, and husbandry for injured, sick, or orphaned wildlife. Their primary goal is to rehabilitate these animals and release them back into their natural habitats. In addition to rehabilitation, WINC offers a robust educational program, presenting approximately 100 programs annually to various groups, including schools, scouts, and community organizations. These programs focus on fostering harmonious coexistence with wildlife. WINC distinguishes itself as one of Wisconsin's largest standalone wildlife rehabilitation facilities. It is one of only two facilities in the state that accepts all species of Wisconsin wildlife, excluding skunks and those currently under COVID-related restrictions.
