WESTMARC

WESTMARC is a regional coalition based in Glendale, Arizona, founded in 1990. The organization employs 18 people and generates $2.5 million in annual revenue. WESTMARC represents 15 communities in Western Maricopa County, encompassing more than 35% of the county's population. WESTMARC functions as a platform for its diverse membership, which includes businesses, industry representatives, government bodies, educational institutions, human services providers, arts and cultural organizations, chambers of commerce, and community leaders. Through its committees, WESTMARC facilitates dialogue and consensus-building on crucial issues facing the region, encompassing economic development, transportation, education, Luke Air Force Base, healthcare, water rights, and public affairs. The organization's primary funding source is its business and industry members.
