West Florida Regional Planning Council

The West Florida Regional Planning Council (WFRPC) is a multi-purpose regional entity recognized by the state of Florida. Located in Destin, Florida, the WFRPC is a regional planning organization with approximately 47 employees. The WFRPC supports the region of northwest Florida by planning for and coordinating intergovernmental solutions to growth-related problems. They provide technical assistance to local governments and meet the needs of communities across the region. The WFRPC serves the counties of northwest Florida which include: Bay, Escambia, Holmes, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton and Washington and their municipalities. Their mission is to provide professional planning, coordinating and advisory services to local governments, state and federal agencies and the public to preserve and enhance quality of life in northwest Florida.
