WCET WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies

WCET WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies is a non-profit organization located in Boulder, Colorado, with 17 employees. The cooperative focuses on leading the practice, policy, and advocacy of digital learning within higher education. WCET serves colleges and universities, higher education organizations, and companies across the United States and Canada. Their mission is to collectively improve the quality and reach of technology in higher education through collaborative projects, information sharing, and networking. WCET fosters connections among some of the country's most established and innovative postsecondary providers of technology-enhanced learning. WCET was founded in 1989 by the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) to address the increasing need to integrate distance learning and educational technology into the academic services of higher education institutions in the western region.
