WaterStart is a non-profit organization based in Paradise, Nevada, with a mission to bridge the gap between innovative technology companies and water agencies seeking sustainable solutions. Established in 2014, the organization has established a presence in Las Vegas, Reno, and globally through partnerships extending to the UK and Australia. WaterStart serves as a platform connecting innovative technology companies with water agencies and major water consumers, known as Members. The organization facilitates the validation of technologies through its Pilot Program, which is free to apply for and open to all startups and small-to-medium businesses. Driven by funding from public and philanthropic agencies, WaterStart aims to stimulate industry development and enhance water sustainability. The organization has successfully run 19 recruitment rounds and trialed over 37 technologies, generating over $30 million in economic value.
