Vicksburg Convention and Visitors Bureau

The Vicksburg Convention and Visitors Bureau is a non-profit organization based in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Established in 1973, the organization is governed by a Board of Directors and overseen by an Executive Director. The Bureau employs 9 people and generates approximately $2.5 million in revenue annually. Visit Vicksburg, as it's known, acts as a liaison between potential visitors and businesses in Vicksburg/Warren County. Their mission is to encourage and promote tourism in the area. They provide marketing, information, and promotional services for the city and its attractions. Funding for the Vicksburg Convention and Visitors Bureau comes from a 1% Food & Lodging Tax collected from restaurants, hotels, and motels in Warren County. These funds, distributed monthly by the Mississippi Department of Finance & Administration, support the Bureau's operations.
