Valley AIDS Network

Valley AIDS Network is a non-profit organization based in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Employing 5 to 9 individuals, the organization is dedicated to supporting individuals diagnosed with HIV/AIDS within the central Shenandoah Valley. They aim to empower these individuals to achieve better health and financial stability. Valley AIDS Network offers a range of services to eligible clients, including individualized case management, referrals to community resources, and financial assistance for medical expenses, medications, dental care, mental health services, and nutritional supplements. They also provide support with rent, mortgage, and utility bills, as well as assistance with transportation to medical appointments. Additionally, clients have access to an on-site food pantry and can obtain condoms, dental dams, lubrication, and pill boxes. The organization's services are available to residents of Rockingham, Augusta, Rockbridge, Bath, Highland, Southern Shenandoah, and Western Page counties in Virginia. To be eligible for services, clients must have tested positive for HIV/AIDS, have an income within 300% of the Federal Poverty Level, and provide proof of income and other required documentation.
