UVA First Year Players

UVA First Year Players is a student-run organization based in Charlottesville, Virginia. With a team of five employees, FYP is the oldest and largest student-run organization at the University of Virginia. FYP's primary focus is on producing high-quality musical theater for the UVA community and surrounding townspeople. While the cast is comprised entirely of first-year and first-year transfer students, the organization welcomes students of all years and interests in various roles including technicians, directors, musicians, and administrators. FYP prides itself on creating a supportive and artistic environment for first-year students, while also providing opportunities for students of all years to contribute their talents.
