The Utah County Academy of Sciences, known as UCAS, is a public charter high school situated in Orem, Utah. Established in 2005, UCAS specializes in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education for students in grades 10 through 12. With a staff of 42 employees and an annual revenue exceeding $100 million, UCAS serves approximately 400 students. UCAS provides a rigorous academic program designed to prepare students for success in college and beyond. As an Early College High School, students have the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. UCAS graduates consistently receive substantial scholarship offers, with an average exceeding $2 million annually. Nearly all UCAS graduates pursue further education at institutions such as Utah Valley University, Brigham Young University, the University of Utah, Utah State University, Weber State University, Southern Utah University, and numerous prestigious universities across the nation. The academy's commitment to academic excellence has earned it recognition as a top US high school by US News and World Report on multiple occasions. Due to high student demand, admission to UCAS is determined through a public lottery system.
