Upturn Arts

Upturn Arts is a non-profit organization based in New Orleans, Louisiana. The organization is committed to providing arts education to children in the community and currently employs 16 staff members. Upturn Arts was established in 2010 as a satellite project of Hope Stone, Inc. based in Houston, Texas. The organization officially became independent in 2014, gaining 501c3 nonprofit status. Upturn Arts offers a range of arts programs for children, including after-school and day-long summer and holiday programming. The organization provides instruction in dance, music, theater, improvisation, creative writing, drumming, and yoga.
