UNO Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center (CEC) is a small center based in Omaha, Nebraska, with 5 to 9 employees. The center is part of UNO and focuses on community engagement initiatives. The CEC works to improve the quality of life in the Omaha community through a variety of programs and partnerships. They offer engaged scholarship opportunities, support student volunteerism and service projects, and develop leadership programs focused on community engagement and civic participation. The center fosters collaborations with local organizations and individuals to create mutually beneficial initiatives.
