University of Waterloo Model G20

The University of Waterloo Model G20 is a student-run, not-for-profit organization based in Canada. It is a medium-sized company with 20 to 49 employees. The University of Waterloo Model G20 Conference is Canada’s premier G20 simulation experience. The conference allows delegates to act as world leaders by taking on the roles of the world’s twenty most powerful countries. Over the course of four days, delegates collaborate and work to create diplomatic solutions for some of the greatest challenges faced around the world today. The conference features a unique G20 debate format, and each year has a distinct theme. Past themes have included "Innovation," "Momentum," and "Horizon." The conference also includes highly distinguished speakers, leaders in the field of international relations, and networking opportunities with fellow students from across Canada.
