Who is University of Washington Graduate and Professional Student Senate
The University of Washington Graduate and Professional Student Senate is a student government organization based in Seattle, Washington. It is comprised of over 150 elected or appointed students representing the graduate and professional degree granting schools, departments, and programs at the University of Washington's Seattle campus. The organization's mission is to improve all aspects of graduate and professional student life at the University of Washington. They work to address issues specific to the needs and interests of this student population. Founded in 1967, the Graduate and Professional Student Senate was established to provide a distinct voice for graduate and professional students, separate from the broader student body represented by the Associated Students of the University of Washington (ASUW).
