University of Spiritual Healing Sufism

The University of Spiritual Healing & Sufism is a non-profit organization based in Angwin, California. Established in 1990, the institution has grown to employ 6 people. The University of Spiritual Healing & Sufism offers Masters degrees in Spiritual Ministry & Sufi Studies, Spiritual Peacemaking in the Sufi Way, and Spiritual Healing & Counseling. These degree programs, grounded in the teachings of Shadhiliyya Sufism, aim to guide students in discovering their personal missions and applying the teachings for the betterment of others. Founded by Dr. Robert Ibrahim Jaffe, MD, the institution evolved from the School of Energy Mastery, expanding to become The Jaffe Institute, a nonprofit church, before eventually gaining religious exemption status in 2005. Today, the University of Spiritual Healing & Sufism continues to offer spiritual healing and transformation instruction based on the teachings of Shadhiliyya Sufism, introduced by Shaykh Muhammad Sa’id al-Jamal ar-Rafa’i ash-Shaduli, affectionately known as Sidi.
