The Muskie School of Public Service is a public institution located in Portland, Maine. It is a part of the University of Southern Maine and employs 191 people. The Muskie School offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in several fields, including geography-anthropology, tourism and hospitality, policy, planning, and management, and public health. The school is known for its applied research and technical assistance, providing solutions for organizations and communities in areas such as children and families, disability and aging, economic development, environmental resilience, justice policy, and population health. The Muskie School also houses the Cutler Institute, a research arm with over 150 staff members.
