University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus is a non-profit, community teaching hospital located in Baltimore, Maryland. Established in 1881 and originally known as Maryland General Hospital, the institution has served the Baltimore community for over 130 years. Today, UMMC Midtown operates as a 200-bed hospital, partnered with the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) and part of the University of Maryland Medical System.
