## University of Louisville School of Medicine The University of Louisville School of Medicine, established in 1837, is one of the oldest medical schools in the United States. Located in Louisville, Kentucky, it is a leading institution for medical education, research, and patient care. The school is part of the larger University of Louisville Health Sciences Center campus, which houses over 4,600 medical students, 275 graduate students, and approximately 1,000 resident physicians and postdoctoral fellows.
