United States Strategic Command

United States Strategic Command is a government organization located at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska. The organization provides strategic deterrence and, if deterrence fails, delivers a decisive response. They combine the synergy of the U.S. legacy nuclear command and control mission with responsibility for space operations; global strike; global missile defense; and global command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR). USSTRATCOM serves as the senior unified command in the Department of Defense, providing the President, the Secretary of Defense, other national leadership, and combatant commanders with accurate and timely information.
