Tuttle Publishing is a book publishing company based in North Clarendon, Vermont. Founded in 1948 by Charles E. Tuttle, the company was initially established in Tokyo, Japan. Tuttle Publishing is comprised of three imprints: Tuttle, Periplus Editions, and Journey Editions. The company specializes in publishing books focused on Eastern and Western cultural understanding, particularly in the areas of language learning and Japanese arts and culture.
