Troubadour Inc

Troubadour Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. Founded over 36 years ago, the organization employs a small team of five individuals. Troubadour Inc. focused on improving literacy and academic achievement among Massachusetts students through arts-integrated literacy instruction. They provided teachers with dynamic strategies to enhance their instructional practices in the literary arts. Their classroom writing workshops integrated poetry, songwriting, prose, movement, drama, and storytelling, catering to the specific literacy needs of learners from pre-K through eighth grade. Troubadour Inc. believed that all learners deserved a well-rounded education that acknowledged individual learning styles, encouraged creative expression, and sparked imaginations through engaging, authentic content. As of the end of June 2016, Troubadour Inc. has closed its doors.
