Transportation Infrastructure Durability Center

The Transportation Infrastructure Durability Center (TIDC) is a small organization based in Orono, Maine, with a team of three employees. TIDC is dedicated to advancing the field of transportation infrastructure by developing innovative solutions to enhance durability and lifespan. The center focuses its efforts on four key research areas: monitoring and assessment of existing infrastructure; exploring new materials for enhanced longevity and construction efficiency; investigating novel systems designed for longevity and constructability; and advancing connectivity for improved asset and performance management.
