The Reporter

The Reporter is a student-run newspaper located in Miami, Florida. It is a biweekly publication with a circulation of 10,250 copies per print cycle and also features video and audio content on its website. The Reporter is staffed by 25 employees. The Reporter serves the student body of Miami Dade College, providing news and information about campus life, local events, and current affairs. The newspaper is distributed at all eight MDC campuses, with newsrooms situated at the North, Wolfson, and Kendall Campuses. Founded in 2010, The Reporter is the successor to three previous student newspapers at Miami Dade College: The Falcon Times, The Catalyst, and The Metropolis. These student publications have a rich history of excellence, winning 20 National Pacemaker Awards and numerous accolades from the Florida Community College Press Association.
