The Northern International Livestock Exposition

The Northern International Livestock Exposition (NILE) is a non-profit organization based in Billings, Montana. With a team of four employees, NILE is dedicated to promoting livestock, agricultural education, and preserving the western way of life. They generate an annual revenue of $2.5 million. NILE hosts two major events annually: the Northern International Livestock Exposition (NILE) and the Montana Agri-Trade Exposition (MATE). The NILE, a week-long stock show and rodeo held every October, attracts hundreds of exhibitors from across the United States, showcasing livestock and horses for exhibition and sale. The event also features top-notch rodeo performances. MATE, held in February, is a trade show celebrating farming and ranching and the businesses that support these industries. In addition to their flagship events, NILE has a rich history in rodeo. They hosted an invitational bull riding in 1992, paving the way for the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) association.
