The Light Foundation

The Light Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Greenville, Ohio. Founded in 2001 by Matt and Susie Light, the organization is dedicated to empowering at-risk youth through outdoor leadership development. With a team of nine employees, The Light Foundation has generated $2.5 million in revenue. The Light Foundation operates Camp Vohokase, an outdoor leadership camp held annually at its Chenoweth Trails facility, a 500+ acre property in Ohio. The organization selects a group of young men from across the country to participate in the camp, where they learn valuable life skills such as hard work, responsibility, and accountability. Beyond the summer camp, The Light Foundation provides year-round support to these participants, ensuring they remain on track towards achieving their full potential.
