The Jewish Graduate Student Initiative

The Jewish Graduate Student Initiative (JGSI) is a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 2011, JGSI is the only national organization exclusively focused on supporting Jewish graduate students. With a team of four employees, JGSI has grown to generate over $5 million in annual revenue. JGSI offers a range of programs and initiatives designed to foster Jewish life on college campuses and connect Jewish graduate students, alumni, and young professionals with their heritage and the broader Jewish community. These programs aim to instill Jewish values such as ethical leadership, lifelong learning, and communal responsibility within an environment of open dialogue and mutual respect.
