The InterAgency Board

The InterAgency Board (IAB) is a collaborative panel of emergency preparedness and response professionals based in Arlington, Virginia. The IAB comprises 100-249 employees and generates an estimated $50 million in annual revenue. The IAB provides a platform for practitioners from diverse disciplines and all levels of government to share knowledge and improve national preparedness. They focus on enhancing interoperability and compatibility among local, state, and federal response communities. Drawing on real-world experience, IAB members work to establish performance criteria, standards, test protocols, and training requirements for all-hazards incident response equipment. A particular emphasis is placed on issues related to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) threats. The IAB also actively contributes to broader emergency preparedness and response policies, doctrines, and practices.
