THE FUNHOUSE COMMONS

The Funhouse Commons is a public non-profit organization based in Eastsound, Washington. Established as a 501(c)(3), it serves the Orcas Island community and operates with the support of generous donations, grants, and a dedicated team of volunteers. The organization employs 11 individuals and generates around $5 million in annual revenue. The Funhouse Commons offers a variety of programs for children, teenagers, and adults. Their primary focus is providing a safe and inspiring space for kids to learn, play, and explore their creativity. During the summer months they cater to tourists, while the rest of the year they concentrate on local youth, offering programs such as video and audio production, improvisational theater, poetry, beading, computer skills, and women's self-defense. In addition, they provide evening classes for teens and adults, and day-time programs for toddlers. The Funhouse Commons is deeply committed to its community and actively seeks further support through volunteering and donations.
