The Eckford Mentorship Program

The Eckford Mentorship Program is a non-profit organization based in Lexington, Kentucky. With a team of six employees, they are dedicated to empowering black and latinx students through mentorship. The Eckford Virtual Mentorship program connects talented students with industry-experienced professionals in their field of study. By pairing students with mentors, Eckford aims to provide valuable guidance and support, helping them navigate the competitive job market and secure internships and references. Eckford recognizes the advantages that established networks can provide and seeks to level the playing field for black and latinx students who may not have access to those same opportunities.
