The Dickens Project

The Dickens Project is a multi-campus research unit based in Santa Cruz, California, dedicated to the study and promotion of Victorian literature and culture. Comprised of a team of 5 to 9 employees, the project is a part of the University of California system. The Dickens Project provides a variety of outreach programs focused on Victorian literature and culture. These programs are designed for students and teachers from high schools and colleges across the United States. The project's mission is to enhance writing and teaching skills while fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the Victorian era and its lasting influence on modern society.
