The Connecticut Forum

The Connecticut Forum is a nonprofit organization based in Hartford, Connecticut. The organization employs 17 people and generates revenue of over $10,000. The Connecticut Forum presents large-scale panel discussions featuring world-renowned experts and celebrities on a variety of topics, including politics, technology, and global affairs. They also run community outreach programs, specifically the Connecticut YOUTH Forum, which engages high school students in dialogues and activities focused on reducing racial and socioeconomic isolation. Since 1992, The Connecticut Forum has hosted over 400 panelists at The Bushnell theater, including notable figures such as Michelle Obama, Malcolm Gladwell, and Gloria Steinem. The Connecticut YOUTH Forum, launched in 1993, now involves approximately 750 teenagers from 35 high schools in the Greater Hartford area.
